Course Title: Food Hygiene
Overview:
The course will benefit all carers who need to handle and prepare food within residential and domiciliary environments.
The course looks at contamination, importance of hygiene and correct food storage.
Course Content:
The course covers:
- Legislation
- Work environment
- Care workers responsibilities
- Personal health and hygiene issues
- Pest control
- Health and safety at work

Venue: Learners workplace, Our training suite or a venue to be agreed.
Course Duration: Half a day
Certificate:
At the end of the session, learners will be issued with a
Certificate of attendance which can be referenced to the Health and Social Care NVQ's.
