Specialist Dementia Care

Care Nursing recognises the need for specialist training to deal with people with Dementia.

In conjunction with a dementia specialist we have developed a specialist dementia training program that all carers now attend.

This course gives carers an understanding of the needs of a person with dementia and enables our carers to provide specialist care services to them.

Our Dementia training involves 3 full days of in-house training followed by a 12 week assessment of the skills the carer has received.
